QIAN BIAN PRIVATE DRIVING INSTRUCTOR (PDI)

First post for this BLOG, first COMPLAINT!

Alright, countless citizens takes driving lessons daily, and many were unfortunate like me to meet people who take advantage of newbs who have minimal experience in this industry. There have been many feedbacks on the street , including this 55 year oldish man by the name of Yeow Teck Siong from BBDC. He allegedly victimise his students by these methods:

Late minutes on his part disregarded
10 minutes praying in a hour long lesson
Dumping the kid with reading materials that he read before in the car while he goes for long meals.
Ending lessons early though still charging full amount.
Bringing his students for car maintenance and regards it as 'lesson time'.

Alright, this kind of treatment if true sickens me to the core, reminding myself of my bad experience. So I have a piece of  advice. Always clear the 'rules' with the private instructor before committing to him, some rules include late timings, places to drop off, PRICE FOR CIRCUIT, PRICE FOR TEST, ANY ADMINISTRATIVE PRICE, NUMBER OF LESSONS. If possible, set a test date. If he tries to insinuates threats such as 'nobody here will agree, we make the decision, you take or leave!'. Do not be threatened, he is probably the undesirable kind. If he agrees, do not take it easily, go for a few lessons, any time-wasting and give him a warning, say that you will complain to TRAFFIC POLICE, because you can! And many do not know that the instructors will be charged if so.

I am sure many out there are suffering with this situation, do not be scared, we have done nothing to deserve this. Kick that instructor away even if you have taken like 20 lessons, they normally drag till 35 lessons. Then ensure that you report it to the TRAFFIC POLICE. Hopefully they learnt their lessons or get their license revoked. Do not forget, we are the customer, and are always right.
